How does the game day competition work?
Preliminary Rounds (all performed continuous in the order below)
Each section has it's own scoresheet and teams are comparatively scored; meaning teams' performances are compared to each other's to determine scoring.

Band Chant
* 1 minute time limit.
* Must use recorded marching band music. * No stunting or tumbling allowed. |
Crowd-Leading
* 1 minute time limit.
* No music allowed. * Limited Stunting & tumbling allowed. * Engaging the crowd in appropriate call-response cheer for maximum feedback. |
Fight Song
* 1 minute time limit.
* Must use recorded marching band Fight Song. * Limited Stunting & tumbling within a consecutive repetition. |
Final Round
If teams advance from preliminary rounds, they compete in the FINAL round.
This final round has a completely new scoresheet and all scoring from preliminary rounds is discarded. The final round is also comparatively scored.

* One continuous performance starting with Band Chant, followed by a game situation prompt (Offense or Defense), then Crowd-Leading section, and ending with the Fight Song.
