Coach Ashlie Smith has been with the WGHS Cheerleading Program for five years. She cheered from Kindergarten though high school. She has coached athletic association football squads, WGHS football, competition and basketball squads in addition to experience cheering football and basketball. She is a member of the Georgia Cheerleading Coaches Association (GCCA). 

She graduated from Piedmont College with a Bachelor's of Art in education and continued her education at Piedmont to obtain her Master's of Art in Early Childhood Education. Currently, she teaches Kindergarten at Loganville Elementary School. 

When she is not working, she loves spending time with her husband, Jared and daughter Millie Kate.  They enjoy traveling and camping. Their favorite family vacation spot is DISNEY.
